Frank M. Fischer, the director and creative mind of music 'n' motion, has been captivated by music since he was 7 years old. That led to a position playing first trumpet in a wind-and-brass orchestra accompanied by piano lessons at an early age. As a prolific composer, the piano has remained his instrument of choice to the present day.
After studying with concert pianist Wolfgang Beitz and conductor Sergiu Celibidache, Frank's career included tours across Germany and France as keyboarder with the jazz-rock group "Gong" (musicians from Mike Oldfield's band).
Following a phase "gigging with the pros" across Europe, he took on a position as director of a recording studio. In 1994, this led to the creation of his own digital studio for music and film scoring: music 'n' motion.
A continuous flow of music, film scores, composition work and dubbing has proceeded ever since. These have been supplemented by industrial films and multimedia corporate presentations for well-known companies such as Thyssen Krupp, as well as scoring work for nationwide television broadcasters such as the ARD network, Pro Sieben, RTL and SAT1.
The number of renowned companies that value the professional work together with Frank M. Fischer and his team is large and continues to grow.
Stephan Schwiderski, who has been directly affiliated with music 'n' motion since 2004, developed his passion for saxophone and trumpet at an equally early age. Since then he has taken an active role playing in the widest variety of orchestras and bands.
After a phase at a record company learning the ins and outs of their sales and marketing divisions, Stephan opted for the challenge of being a full-time saxophone player. A solid reputation on an international scale soon followed. Since 2000 his firm "Magic Moments" has produced highly acclaimed musical scores for such major companies as Schwarzkopf (hair-care products), OTTO-Versand (catalogue sales), Hamburger Sparkasse (savings and loan institution), Panasonic and many more.
Since the merger of Magic Moments and music 'n' motion in 2004, Stephan Schwiderski has continued his composing and production work at music 'n' motion: the perfect supplement to our team.
The Team around Frank M. Fischer has meanwhile become a staff of 6 in the production sector. As the need arises, these qualified audio technicians, media designers and acoustic environment planners are supplemented by additional professional staff.
We assure an up-and-coming generation of in-house talent through practical internships and two certified apprenticeship positions.
Above and beyond music 'n' motion's core competence, additional specialists are available to you as a kind of "idea factory" equipped with tried-and-true professionals: conception/copy, artwork (graphics/illustration) and production (printing). Hamburg's best-known agencies value both the ideas and how they are made a reality.
